The Community Health and Empowerment Network, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that exist to provide health education, screening services, and food resources to individuals in the low-income and underserved population. disparities in South Florida. We are planning a Caribbean Pride: Free Food Distribution and Health Event. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Community Health & Empowerment Network’s Center located at 809 NW 119th Street North Miami Fl. 33168. We believe that every family deserves to have healthy food to eat and access to free and/or affordable health care, especially for our Caribbean communities. So, we are inviting all our sponsors, partners, and supporters to join us in this noteworthy event. Through partnership services with Feeding South Florida and health providers, we plan to serve over 200 families with boxes/bags of healthy food and health screenings of HIV and STD testing, blood pressure and glucose screening, and referral to health care resources.
